Regarding Worf being promoted on DS9, I think you're mistaken as in this video he is already a Lt. Commander since O'Brian called him Commander.

Also, this video (4:45-4:55) confirms that.

No Mistake - He came aboard the station as Lt Commander sometime between 2371 and 2372.
The Enterprise had been destroyed and he was awaiting reassignment.

No, he was not awaiting re-assignment, instead he took a short leave just to think over his position as a Startfleet officer.

Yes he did take leave to consider his standing with starfleet, Official Federation records simply state he was on leave (which is not resigning ) awaiting re-assignment

Quoted from Memory Alpha
While awaiting reassignment following the destruction of the Enterprise, Worf took an extended leave of absence from Starfleet to evaluate his future. He returned his son to Earth to live with the Rozhenkos while he himself took refuge on Boreth. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")

Meanwhile, on the other side of the Federation, Captain Benjamin Sisko and the crew of Deep Space 9 were having trouble keeping order with the Klingons present at the station. When the treaty with the Klingon Empire was threatened during the Klingons' invasion of Cardassia in 2372, Sisko stated, "Curzon told me once that in the long run, the only people who can really handle Klingons are Klingons." It was at this time he requested Worf's help.

Regardless: He did accept the position and was promoted to Lt. Commander

He was not promoted to Lt. Commander on DS9 since he was already promoted to Lt. Commander in the first episode, not sure what season, of TNG, if I am not mistaken.

That video is from Star Trek Generations Movie
Though accurate in star trek universe time ( 2371 ) He did not serve in the capacity of Lt. Commander until he took the post at DS9, The Enterprise was destroyed in the Generations Movie not during TNG Series ... back to my point, the only reason he wasn't promoted during TNG was because of the position he held as security chief which is part of the Operations division which Data was in charge of.

Read his service record

https://memory-alpha.fandom.com/wiki/Worf

My point is not when or how or on what show, just that his position on the enterprise is the only reason he did not get promoted to Lt Commander while serving as Security officer

Tuvok's Age

Many Many misconceptions on this one, according to ST Universe at the beginning of the Voyager Series he was 107 yrs of age, yet in one of the episodes in season 7 Janeway say's she researched everything to discover his birthday and then commented about him getting close to 3 digits in age which by then he would have been 113
