Skillbook Project Completed Claims File Upload

Post by dietbob196045 »

This post is for uploading of completed claims with regard to the Skill Book Project

Rules for Submitting:

Make sure your file is clean

I use Morrowind Enchanted Editor : I DO NOT recommend using it unless your really experienced with using it !!
TesTool and TESAME are other options that might be easier to use and I know there are several others, whatever
your preferred method makes no difference as long as it is clean
https://www.mwmythicmods.com/ , this site is mostly still active with regard to links and information, most all Mod tools
can be gotten from there

Ensure all non vanilla assets are properly named as follows sbp (skill book project) xx (your user id) xxxxxxx (object name) like this: sbp_db_book_42
and if you use someone else's stuff.... ensure you get permission if needed and give credit in your read file

You can name your ESP anything you want, but I would prefer if you named it like this: SBP Claim XX (Claim number)

Include a "read me" file, for credits and source information

Package it: Use TESFiles by MentalElf

Compress it: 7z is the one I use ....... then upload it as a reply to this post

99% of the claims for this project will be to enter narrative into a book, this will require a bit of research on the subject

Enjoy

Leo - can you please proof read these books

They are in Seyda Neen near the door outside C & E office

Let me know if the image files attach properly but more important is the spelling and grammar - not the accuracy of the content, just the spelling and grammar

Thanks

Enjoy

I've read the books (Death Vol I, Death Vol 2, Death Vol 3) and so far it looks good, except for two things.
The word above the mouse arrow.
The word above the mouse arrow.
Surely, it should be duties and not dututies.

One of those things I mention is more or less a request.

When I read about the Dunmer, I notice one thing and I think that could be included.

Have you ever played RoHT and did the quest about placing a dead person as an ancestor ghost in an Ancestral Tomb?

Lol yes I fixed that one thanks

I haven't played that mod since it first came out, so memory of events - no clue

but I tried to keep these books more generalized rather then specific to tribal/clan or house customs

What is it you have in mind ?

You're welcome. :)

What I have in mind is another burial ritual for the Dunmer, which I think could be included in your Death Vol 2 book.

That quest has immersion in-game. Basically, it is something like this. When someone who have helped a diseased person to find a family burial tomb and to finish the ritual one need to have an urn to place inside the ancestral tomb, but the urn is missing and a Dunmer cannot be buried without an urn.

So when I did that quest, I had to go a smith and ask for an urn for religous reasons free of charge and the smith often accept such a request with a promise that one who wanted to have an urn need to accept a request from the smith in the future, just to show honour to the smith.

Anyway, you should play the RoHT mod.

I know Urns are a standard as you see them in tombs all over, but I could not find reference to them as a "requirement" or "custom" for burial HOWEVER

I could add text to the book regarding this in a way that doesn't require it

e.g. In some families it is customary to place the ashes of the deceased in an urn so that their remains are not disturbed ?

If you play RoHT and that particular quest you'll know what I mean.
